Hi!

Thinking of you as I prepare for my next grand voyage aboard Queen Mary 2 September 3 to 27, 2015. We travel from NYC to Southampton, England, to Hamburg, Germany, to Oslo, Norway, to Gothenburg, Sweden, to Hamburg to Southampton to NYC. Whew! Needless to say I am very excited.

Sarasota classes will begin/resume on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. We will meet in the mornings, 9:30 to 12:30 in my home studio. Classes will be an open studio format: you bring reference materials (or use my boxes and boxes of “stuff”). Tell me what you want to work on and where you are in the process. I will offer help, demo and critique.

Fees are the same 4 classes for $100 or $35 each.

Classes will be in session from October 21^st until December 9^th, except no class the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We will take a holiday break in December and start again in January.

2015 date correction

Welcome, Painters,

Thank you for your interest in “Painting like crazy”.

This is a reminder AND especially a correction of the Wednesday dates. I had the Friday dates correct for 2015, Wednesday … not so much.

Winter 2015 classes are beginning on January 21 and January 23; 2 days a week; all classes will meet in my home studio near I-75 and Proctor Road. (Home Depot area)

We will meet 10 Wednesday mornings and 10 Wednesday afternoons and ALSO 10 Friday mornings and 10 Friday afternoons.

Wednesday classes are nearly full; there is space available in the Friday classes.

Let loose. Have fun. Paint like crazy.

PAINT LIKE CRAZY: WATERCOLOR and MORE is a non-traditional approach to painting for beginners, re-starters and intermediate painters who want to let loose, have fun, and paint like crazy. The technique most often used is wet into wet watercolor, with tips and technique to make successful paintings. We often paint without drawing and without reference photos. The results are loose interpretive renderings of the subject matter. Classes generally focus on painting elements of the natural world, especially landscape and floral.
