Watercolor and More will meet in two locations this year: my home studio (near I-75 and Proctor, Home Depot area) and the Historical Society of Sarasota County (just north of downtown Sarasota). This is one of two class announcements.
STUDIO CLASSES: Weekly classes meet every Wednesday morning through March 30, 2011.

Let loose. Have fun. Paint like crazy.
WATERCOLOR and MORE is a non traditional approach to painting for beginners, re-starters and intermediate painters who want to let loose, have fun, and paint like crazy. The technique most often used is wet into wet watercolor, with tips and tricks to make successful paintings. We often paint without drawing and without reference photos. The results are loose interpretive renderings of the subject matter. Classes generally focus on painting elements of the natural world, especially landscape and floral.

“WINTER CLASSES ON THE BACK PORCH”
All classes, unless noted, will be held on the BACK PORCH of the Bidwell‐Wood House, at the Historical Society, located at: 1260 12th Street, Sarasota (Between N. Trail and Cocoanut Ave.)
In case of uncooperative weather, classes will be inside the Crocker Memorial Church or the Bidwell‐Wood House!

FALL CLASSES
Hello Painters,
Welcome to fall, and welcome back to beautiful Sarasota to those who have been away. A few stalwarts and I painted through the hot summer right here in sweet home Sarasota. Weekly classes begin again Wednesday, September 22, 2010.
CHANGES: Our friends at Blue Line Supply are in the process of adding matting and framing service. That good news means that the former classroom space is now a framing space. SO, ‘Watercolor and More’ will meet in my home studio.
